Within close proximity are natural parks such as the Dead Sea, Ein Gedi, Metzpeh Ramon and Massada, which offer opportunities for hiking, biking, and camping.
Beer-Sheva offers a variety of shopping malls and traditional centers. The city also provides sport centers, theaters, restaurants and bars, performance venues, as well as spiritual and community volunteer activities that cater to student interests.
