Georgraphically set where the Eastern and Western worlds meet, the MSIH resides within a university environment that serves a critical role within Israel to develop leaders in medicine to tackle global problems. The MSIH draws an exceptional cohort of students from top colleges and universities in the United States, Canada, and across the globe. Our students represent a diversity of nationalities, ethnicities, and religious affiliations.

All cultures, religions, idealogical beliefs, and levels of economic status connect in Israel. This setting is ideal for a student body that envisions this framework and foundation on how they would develop essential skills to treat patients and conduct medical research in a global society.

MSIH students are actively engaged in the Negev community, which has grown alongside Ben-Gurion University. Many of our students have volunteered internationally, led service-based organizations as undergraduates, and presented their medical research at conferences and symposiums for global audiences.

Our students have participated in volunteer medical work. Through the academic year and summer sessions, they have established and expanded collaborations to treat migrants into Israel from developing worlds, and partnered with humanitarian organizations to expand the reach of medial research.
